The central library at the university of Baghdad held a course to facilitate the procedures for logical setup of databases

The general secretariat of the central library held a course entitled (systems analysis, databases and information networks) for converting manual system to automated system. Dr. Iman Mahdi Saleh delivered a lecture dealt with the aspects of the general knowledge of information systems and how to analyze the manual system, turning it to an automated system. The researcher said that information are a collection of facts and observations that represent raw material,  when processed bring about meaningful outputs and that the relationship between knowledge and information can answer questions related to who, when, where and what. While the knowledge by trying to answer the questions  related to how and what, so the information can be circulated. Seven people participated from various government departments such as the directorate-general of education at Maysan, the department of training and development in the oil ministry, the directorate-general of education at Basra and the central library at the university of Baghdad. The participants expressed their admiration for the valuable and useful information can be utilized from practically.
