The faculty of information witnessed for the first time conducting the examinations of the first semester for the students of the third and fourth grades in informatics and electronic press via internet instead of the paper answer. Dr. Abdul Amir al-Faisal, supervisor of these tests said (the department of journalism was keen in the first semester on giving practical applications and training in the use of technology in the media work in line with the theoretical lectures). He pointed out that conducting exams inside laboratories without using papers is not considered as a test but a practical lesson on how can the student writes news, reports and articles, sending them to his media institution via computer and internet in addition to using social networking. Prof. Dr. Hashim Hassan, dean of the faculty of information, Dr. Mohammed Jassim Falhi, head of the department of journalism and Dr. Hussein Ali Noor, assistant of the dean for students’ affairs visited computer labs, praising the students’ impulsion, eagerness for learning and creativity and wishing them success and luck in this new experience.
