The museum of the university of Baghdad opens its doors to get access to the history of the university and its scientific march

The museum of the university of Baghdad located within the al-Jadiriya complex in the headquarters of the university of Baghdad called those interested to learn something about the history of the oldest university in Iraq and in the middle east. The museum currently has more than (300) photos that represent the historical stages of the university since its establishment in 1957 up to this day according to the years of the establishment of its colleges, institutes and centers, including historical photos of the presidency of the university, the heads of the university up to prof. Dr. Musa al-Musawi. It includes also an electron museum with two (LED) screens administrated by computer, providing internet used for the purpose of the collecting documentary photos and recordings about the university. This museum was founded in 2007, rehabilitated and renovated according to the high technical and aesthetic specifications and was reopened in 2013 while related directly to the president of the university since its importance in the university life. It is opened daily during office hours at al-Jadiriya near the center of development and continuing education, opposite to the university tower, ready to receive guests.
