The continuing education unit at the college of veterinary medicine at the university of Baghdad in collaboration with the training and rehabilitation center in the ministry of agriculture a workshop entitled “poultry diseases and methods of diagnosis”. The workshop included giving many scientific lectures with the participation of the professors specialized in the science of poultry diseases, as well as the practical side, which included dissecting a number of disease cases to diagnose their causes and how to describe the proper treatment for them, as well as dedicating vdcs containing many modern scientific books about poultry breeding. For his part, Dr. Saad Hatem, the director of agricultural rehabilitation and counseling thanked the deanery for organizing the workshop, stressing that the ministry is going ahead with holding other courses and workshops that aim to expand the horizons of joint cooperation between the ministry and the college of veterinary medicine. The workshop concluded with distributing certificates to the veterinary doctors participating from the provinces of Kirkuk, Basra, Diyala, Karbala, Babil and Anbar who displayed their thanks and appreciation for the cooperation by the members of the poultry diseases branch for hosting and supervising the course.
