A research team adds another achievement to the achievements of the university

Coinciding with the modern scientific developments at all levels, the University of Baghdad is seeking for all that is new and modern to meet the ambition and adds another achievements, creations and activities on scientific levels in various fields. A number of researchers at the University of Baghdad added a new achievement that will be recorded among the achievements of the university since a research team represented by assistant professor Dr. Abdul Karim Abdul Razzaq al-Kazzaz, head of the research team, the lecturer Dr. Mohammed Abdel Latif as a joint researcher,  the assistant lecturer Haibat Kaiser unan, as a joint researcher published (DNA sequences) for ten varieties of local and imported (commercial) rice of hereditary indexes (RM 171), on which a distinction of varieties can be made in an accurate and easy way. These sequences were saved and documented in GenBank of the national Center for  bio-techniques information in the United States (NCBI) with the names of the researchers below and on behalf of the department of bio-techniques at the college of sciences – Baghdad university.
