Faculty of Education (Ibn Rushd) holds its 2nd international scientific conference


The educational unit for peace and human rights studies at the faculty of education for humanities (Ibn Rushd) at University of Baghdad organized the 2nd international scientific conference under the title (Rights as planted seeds that grow and integrate in the university) in the presence of the dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Allawi Sader Jazi and a number of professors and participants. During his speech at the opening of the conference, the dean addressed the most correct approach adopted by all religions to meet the norms of our Islamic community. The High Commission member Assis. Prof. Dr. Anas Akram Mohammed delivered a speech referring to human rights in Iraq which need a lot of follow-up and national and global partnerships stating that many international commitments signed by Iraq from international conventions, loans and grants have entered into implementation by since the High Commission for Human Rights (OHCHR) is the national and international partner in this matter and that most of the conventions are designed to strengthen the culture and functions of human rights in Iraq. The conference witnessed the participations of (78) local researches from Iraqi universities as well as (10) researches from five Arab countries.
