Dr. Alaa Ihsan Salum, an instructor at the department of economics at University of Baghdad participated in the symposium organized by KOICA Alumni Association in Iraq that discussed how to cope with economic crises through development of small enterprises and their role in combating unemployment. It is worth mentioning that small enterprises play an important role in the economic development of countries around the world that constitute a large proportion of agricultural, industrial and service projects and that contribute in absorption of labor force in addition to its wide spread in urban and regional population areas.
