The ministry of higher education and scientific research has announced direct admission controls in the faculties of physical education and sport sciences for the academic year (2017-2018). The ministry stated that it would accept (85%) of the graduates of the biological and applied and humanities branches according to admission controls for the coming year, (60%) of males and (57%) of females. The ministry’s official spokesman, Dr. Haider Al-Aboudi said that the ministry allocated (60%) for admission of the vocational studies (industrial, commercial, agricultural and applied arts) that is to say (5%) of the admission plan. The official spokesman added also that the candidates of the Olympic Committee who had participated in international championships and accredited to the Asian Union will be accepted by (10%) of the admission plan.
