Workshop on security and radiation safety at Al-Khwarizmi College of engineering
Department of biochemical engineering at University of Baghdad organized a workshop on chemical and biological safety and radiation in cooperation with a specialized ministerial team (CBRN). The workshop included several lectures that addressed many subjects in this regard such as safety tools available in any chemical laboratory including first aid box, early warning device, emergency exits, fire extinguishers etc. The workshop also dealt with the risks that the workers are exposed to such as oncology so efforts should be sought to prevent human, animal or plant injuries via a sound environment free from these hazardous exposures.
