Laser Institute discusses the treatment of urinary incontinence


Laser Institute for Postgraduate Studies at University of Baghdad witnessed the discussion of a diploma thesis entitled (treating traumatic urinary incontinence using carbon dioxide laser) submitted by the researcher Nadia Abdul Aziz Ibrahim. The study showed that urinary incontinence is common among women who have a history of frequent natural births or difficult births which is one of the serious problems suffered by young women so in such cases the patient can be treated by the use of carbon dioxide laser in the central area of the urethra during three repeated sessions each after four weeks and this method registered good results.
