A number of professors from Al-Kindy College of medicine at University of Baghdad participated in a workshop held at University of Sheffield in cooperation with the British cultural center in Baghdad to develop the medical education at the Iraqi colleges of medicine attended by professors from the universities of Baghdad, Nahrain and Babylon. Assistant Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Qurtas, dean of the college and Prof. Dr. Mohammed Jalal, Associate Dean for scientific affairs, Assistant Prof. Dr. Yasser Abbas from the department of biochemistry participated in adopting the integrative system of the British medical schools in order to its implementation at University of Baghdad.
