Faculty of education for pure science (Ibn al-Haytham) at University of Baghdad held a lecture on (cyanide compounds: advantages and disadvantages) within the cultural season of the department of chemistry where the instructor Elham Negmish Mizel delivered a lecture that addressed many topics such as a number of chemical compounds in which there is cyanide whether naturally or industrially, its uses in industry and agriculture in spite of its toxicity, its impact on human health and how to treat the digestive system and at last how to keep such dangerous and toxic compounds safely. A number of professors and graduate students participated in this recent event.
