Dr. Intithar Ali Jabir, an instructor at the department of Spanish language, college of languages – University of Baghdad participated in the international conference held at Navarre University, Spain to celebrate the 4th anniversary of the Spanish writer (Miguel de Cervantes) under the slogan (Cervantes: his work and age). The researcher submitted a paper entitled (General qualities of Cervantes’ drama) which dealt with literary and theatrical ideas and techniques used by this writer in comedy and tragedy compared with the techniques used by his English counterpart Shakespeare. This event witnessed the presence of a large group of academicians and researchers from different Arabic and foreign countries.
