Professors of the faculty of law give lectures at Geneva session for international arbitration


A number of the professors of the faculty of law, University of Baghdad participated through giving lectures in a session held by Geneva center for international arbitration/Iraq branch at the hall of Teachers Association. Assistant Prof. Dr. Khalis Nafae Ameen delivered two lectures entitled “rules of drafting commercial contracts: arbitration in State contracts” while Assistant Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ulum Mohammed gave two lectures entitled “arbitration in administrative contracts: arbitration in partnership contracts”. Assistant Prof. Dr. Luma Abdul Baki Mahmoud gave two lectures entitled “alternative means of dispute resolution: arbitration in oil contracts”. It is noteworthy that this center in the only one in the Middle East accredited to the United Nations and the Swiss arbitration body and it is the first center that gives the title of (Adviser) and it is considered as one of the top 10 centers worldwide and owns the largest legal journal in the Arab world.
