Instructor at the faculty of medicine publishes a paper on bacterial resistance in global journal

Dr. Rand Riadh, an instructor at the department of microbiology in the college of medicine, University of Baghdad in cooperation with a number of researchers published a paper entitled “Iraqi scientists find a solution to the problem of bacterial resistance to antibiotics” in the quarterly journal (QS news 2 WOW U) Quacquarelli Symonds, vol. (22) of (2016). This paper dealt with solutions to reduce Staphylococcus bacteria resistant to antibiotics. This strategy is an effective way to control MRSA in routine health procedures in hospitals which is a new approach that can be used in the prevention of diseases related to devices planted in vivo and medical tools such as urinary catheters and others. it is known that this type of bacteria are common constraints that cause serious injuries in hospitals among patients who have weak immune systems since that bacteria have the ability to form bio-membranes on the surfaces of artificial material and its possible for them to evolve and gain resistance to new antibiotics.
