The importance of folklore in the development of the theatrical actor’s performance: Al-Rawi as a model


Center for revival of Arab scientific heritage at Baghdad University held a seminar on (the importance of folklore in the development the theatrical actor’s performance: Al-Rawi as a model) delivered by Dr. Ali Ibrahim Abdul Mohsen, an instructor at the University of Babylon/college of fine arts/theater arts department sponsored by director of the center, Associate Prof. Dr. Abdullah Hamid al-Etabi. The seminar discussed the importance of folklore in heritage, its definition with reference to Al-Rawi Al-Baghdadi and his role in keeping heritage and folklore over various times as well as the challenges that faced him in society. The seminar witnessed a number of interventions and discussions by professors.
