Marshes inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List
Center for revival of Arab scientific heritage at University of Baghdad celebrated UNESCO’s decision to include the marshes of Iraq within its world heritage list as one of the archaeological sites which is considered as a great achievement and a new opportunity to develop our Iraqi heritage and to revive it again. This event requires providing the necessary support to preserve the legacy of Mesopotamia and guarantee an international attention in this regard.
