Institute of laser witnesses the discussion of MA thesis on the modification of the properties of electric and thermal surface


Institute of laser for graduate studies at Baghdad University witnessed the discussion of MA thesis entitled (modification of the properties of electrical and thermal surface of poly methyl methacrylate and acrylonitrile styrene with the addition of nano carbon tubes and automated YAG laser. This thesis was submitted by the researcher (Walla Essam Rasul) from the laser branch at the department of mechanics, college of engineering. The researcher stated that there are two types of nano carbon tubes that can be used for pavement of poly methyl methacrylate surface: multi-walled and double walled nano carbon tubes by the use of automated YAG laser system. She stated also that this work has been implemented by controlling some laser variables such as maximum laser power, laser pulse width and the actual pulse frequency.
