Experts at the department of astronomy capture a photo of a giant sunspot

Some experts at the department of astronomy captured a photo of a giant sunspot numbered (2529) that encountered the earth on Tuesday, 12/4/2016. It is worth mentioned that “Sunspots” are relatively cool and dark areas on the surface of the sun were the temperature drops to 500 degrees less than the temperature of sun surface (5600 k). They are accompanied by a special solar activity and that spot is of a giant area of at least 4 times the size of the globe. A telescope or any other lens with an appropriate filter should be used when watching the sun that can block 95% or more of sunlight because the damage of eyes may lead to blindness.
