Approval of good laboratory criteria (IGLP) for acquiring accreditation certification from (OECD) organization for the first time in Middle East

  Computer center at Baghdad University organized a course on good laboratory specifications (IGLP) with the adoption of the international specifications (ISO17025) under the sponsor of the ministry of higher education and scientific research. The session included a video conversation with Dr. Maysa al-Muhammadawi, an instructor at al-Nahrain University that conducts its career currently in one of the Australian universities within the project of the “Visiting Professor”. Dr. Maysa dealt with ISO history since its founding in 1972 until 2005 which aims to maintain the sustainability of quality and development through asking customers related questions and taking into account input data that determine quality in addition to taking into account cases of delay or poor product where fines should be paid. It is worth mentioned that these criteria are adopted in 34 foreign countries and they would be adopted for the first time in the Middle East and the Arab homeland and it was attended by the director of computer center, Dr. Muhannad Kazem Saber, Dr. Amar Awni, director of global academies unit at the computer center, Dr. Marwan Abdul Hamid Ashur, head of quality assurance department and professors from the colleges and centers at University of Baghdad.
