An instructor from the institute for genetic engineering gets a patent

  Assistant Prof. Dr. Iyad Jaber Issa Kubbah, an instructor at the institute for genetic engineering and biotechnology for postgraduate studies at University of Baghdad got a patent for his research entitled (Improving the productivity of bioethanol by introducing mutations in fungus isolates (ALternaria SPP). This invention came through a specialized and a distinct research team composed of Dr. Labib Ahmed Kadhim and Adel Saadi Salman from the ministry of science and technology where the study showed a high rate of producing bio-alcohol (37.167) Ppm as a result of analysis of Cellulose from agricultural and animal residues taken From different areas of Baghdad that would lead to the use of alcohol as an alternative energy with a lower cost.
