Department of student affairs and ratifications at Baghdad university holds a workshop on electronic application for evening study 2015/2016

Department of student affairs and ratifications held a workshop on electronic application for evening study 2015/2016 with the attendence of the director of the central admission at the department of studies and planning, Dr. Amar Salem Kadhem and assistant of the university president for scientific affairs, Dr. osamah Fadel al-Taie and Hussein khudair, director of department of student affairs & ratifications and officials of registration units at the colleges, assistant deans at the university formations. The workshop was initiated by discussing the admission plan and the controls on which the university depends on when introducing evening classes for the academic year (2015/2016) including the acceptance of (4810) students in (9) colleges (Al-Khwarizmi college of engineering, science, education for pure sciences, administration & economics, fine arts, Islamic sciences, arts, education for humanities – Ibn Rushd) also admission in (56) specializations in engineering, science, health, art, literature, education and humanities and that the admission plan for the current year exceeds that of the previous year (2014/2015). It is worth to note that this endeavor is the first conducted online by the university of Baghdad in the evening study via the university website, unlike the previous mechanism by filling forms in return for sums, since this method saves time and effort for applicants and provide the chance for the students to apply for more than one college according to their averages. The director of the department of student affairs asserted the need to clarify the method of the applicants’ registration and assisting them in the application centres.
