Study to integrate the college of Education Ibn-al-Haytham with College of science and College of Education IbnRushd with College of Arts to be College of Humanities.

The council of university approved the adoption of calling the colleges of Education,Ibn-al-Haytham and College of science to be integrated into College of pure science,College of Education IbnRushd and College of Arts to be integrated into College of Humanities.This comes to rely on the label based on the memorandum had been sent by the Department of studies , planning and follow-up in the Ministry of the Higher Education and Scientific Research for the adoption of harmonized terminology For the Colleges of Education in Iraqi universities.

The council decided to form a special committee headed by assistant Scientific president of the University which will study the possibility of application the integration College of Education for the Humanities with the College of Arts and raise the appropriate proposals on the study in preparation for re-submission it to the university council at a future meeting.
