First instructor from the university of Baghdad gets membership in World Council for Psychotherapy as representative in Iraq

  Assistant professor Adel Abdul Rahman Sediq al-Salihi, director of psychological counseling bureau at the center of the psychological researches, university of Baghdad gained membership of the World Council for Psychotherapy of the united nations which is the highest global certificate in the field of psychotherapy. This came after the approval of the World Council for psychotherapy and appointed as the official representative in Iraq, in recognition of his outstanding efforts in clinical psychology and psychotherapy following a careful scrutiny of his scientific biography since he won 9 memberships in scientific associations, 14 scientific approvals inside and outside Iraq, 5 academic certificates, 14 fourteen certificates od appreciation, 6 shields of excellence and creativity, as well as supervising several dissertations and theses, authoring 14 published and unpublished books in various topics. Assistant professor Adel al-Salhi is considered a specialist in clinical psychology who had his master degree from al-Mustansiriya university, and currently in a scholarship for Ph.D in psychotherapy in Sigmund Freud university, Austria. The World Council for Psychotherapy has several branches in many countries of the world that provides services on psychotherapy, professional ethics and provides training according to international standards.
