Under the auspices of prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Hussein Abdul Rasul, president of Baghdad university, the center for development and continuing education at the university of Baghdad held a scientific symposium under the slogan (communication technology for a sustainable future). The symposium entitled (future of PV technologies) in the late Dr. Ali al-Wardi Hall in center of psychological researches. It was presided by Dr. Mahmoud Abdul-Qader, head of the electrical engineering department, the teacher Abdullah Hussein Hassan from the development and continuing education center as rapporteur. A number of working papers were discussed at the symposium including a paper submitted by assistant professor Sulaiman Murtada Abbas, head of electronics engineering and communications department, a paper by the teacher Dr. Mohammad Nazim Abbas, rapporteur of graduate studies in the electrical engineering department, a paper by the teacher Dr. Shannan Dashur, instructor at the department of electrical engineering.
