Maa’da Al-Rahman for the displaced students and prayers for supporting our brave army
With blessed prayers all of our students and professors with the minister of higher education and scientific research pray for our brave army who is fighting the terrorists. His Excellency, the minister, has called during a blessed evening to support and sympathize with the displaced students from Mousil, kirkuk, Al-Anbar and Diyala. A large fast banquet table “ Maa’da Al-Rahman” ( a fast free banquet table that held in Ramadan to the Muslims ) has been held in the gardens of the university of Baghdad with the presence of the president of the university of Baghdad, prof. Dr.Alaa’ Abdul Huseein, prof.Dr. Nabeel Al-A’araji, the head of the supervision board in the ministry of higher education and scientific research, prof. Dr Riyadh Khalil, the administrative assistant of the president of the university.
The minister, Ali Al-Adeeb has met the students and listened to their demands and what their families have encountered of the aggressions from the terrorists and he has explained a lot of procedures that our government has taken to support and back up the displaced families from the critical regions. In addition, the minister has undertaken an open dialogue with all the students explaining that the government has devoted 5000000000 dinars for the displaced families and has made a comfortable home for them especially in this holy month which coincides with summer. The ministry has recommended to open the dormitories for the displaced families, moreover, there is a second attempt for the failures and those who couldn’t take the first attempt final examinations because of the terrorism.The government is also determined to take special care of all the displaced families. The students have thanked and been very grateful to the minister and the president of the university of Baghdad for their interests and presenting all the facilities for them in this critical situation. Prof. Dr. Alaa’ Abdul Hussein has explained that the university opened all its dormitories for the students who encountered threats. The instructions have been given to make the fuel available for the electric generators of the dormitories, besides, instructions have been given to give awards for the displaced students in addition to the special awards of the students. We have taken all the official procedures to support the students including the opportunity for the failures to take the second attempt.Thus, we call our students to study hard.
