Scientific cooperation between the university of Baghdad and the general secretariat of the council of ministers
In the framework of the coordination of scientific and strategic work of the center of strategic and international studies and cooperation with the relevant authorities to provide all that serves the march of our beloved country, an agreement was reached at concerning a scientific cooperation between the center for strategic and International studies at the university of Baghdad and a crisis cell at the general secretariat of the council of ministers through a memorandum of understanding on political and strategic studies, consulting, workshops and courses between the two parties for benefiting from the scientific researches, studies and activities organized by the center. The cooperation mechanism was embodied as follows: First: contribution in the development of monitoring system and strategic information to serve as a research unit supporting the crisis cell and preparing studies and researches that deal with the Iraqi issue in all its dimensions and analyzing the political, security and economic events in Iraq and the challenges faced by Iraq and organizing opinions polls to know the reactions of the Iraqi people towards any governmental decision before or after its release and supplying the crisis cell with daily, weekly and monthly reports on the issues related to the Iraqi affair. Secondly: readiness of the center for international studies to forward its sober research expertise for contribution in crisis management and developing the appropriate strategy to counter the crisis before, during and after it. Thirdly, monitoring the international and regional developments and their impact on the Iraqi affair as well as training and development of research and scientific skills of those involved in the crisis cell.
