University of Baghdad is preparing to inaugurate a recreational club for professors


Assistant of president of the university of Baghdad for administrative affairs, prof. Dr. Hussein Yousef Mahmoud, announced the start of creating the optimal academic climate and the proper psychological atmosphere through a campaign for the development and inauguration of a club for professors in the next few days in its pursuit to improve the reality of its services provided for instructors and students, equipping it with the latest recreations for its members. This endeavor comes after a proposal made by the department of public relations and media at the university represented by its director, Dr. Kazem Umran for allocating a special place for university professors where they spend leisure time. The administrative assistant held a series of meetings in this respect with the director of Diwan, Dr. Mohsen al-Shammari and director of engineering affairs, Dr. Sidky Rezouki and those concerned with the development campaign to provide the best services and food at suitable prices, furnished well and provided with air conditioning. For his part, the director of the department of public relations and media, Dr. Kazem Umran stated that “the club will be in the upper floor of the students club at the college of engineering and would include a corner for providing books in various fields for reading”. The university of Baghdad is seeking to provide the best opportunities and services for students such as parks, facilities and scientific buildings and classrooms as well as providing all recreational facilities, playgrounds, music and art galleries, reading halls and cultural centers in addition to construction of dormitories in perfect scientific atmosphere.
