University of Baghdad introduces digital computerized systems of high precision in university management


University of Baghdad initiated with introducing an important computerized system in coordination with the ministry of higher education and scientific research, based on super-capacity mechanics in university management. This modern system comes under the supervision and guidance of the  president of university, prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul-Hussein, depending on the latest and the best technological developments in the field of managing files of employees and students according to sophisticated computer programs to achieve results of high precision certified by world universities. Department of studies, planning and follow-up initiated with implementation of this unique program sponsored by the university of Baghdad for the first time in Iraq that will perform the task of collecting and classifying data within an administrative and organizational center called (data center) through servers that are universally adopted and this project is preparing and updating data in coordination with the computer center at the university of Baghdad. Administrative assistant of the president of the university of Baghdad, prof. Dr. Hussein Yusuf, accompanied by the director of the department of studies, planning and follow-up, prof. Samer Mohammed Jaber visited the stages of the project that it is hoped to be opened in the near future, stated that this project is progressing on confident pace at the university after completing its preparations and requirements to provide equipment, technologies and software as well as providing technical teams from the university staff working on this program. The Administrative assistant stated: “we have conducted tests on the work of administrative laboratories and equipment that form our advanced technological incubator”. Scientific assistant of the president of the university, Dr. Alaa Karim Mohammed stated: “the university has exerted great effort for developing and programming the administrative and scientific data for graduate studies through a number of advanced software under the supervision of Ghasan Hamid, director of computer center to introducing safe software with a high speed and precision”, praising these efforts based on online contact between the university centers via digital networks. Director of engineering affairs, Dr. Sidky Rezouki stated: “the university according to its modern approach has rushed to update its equipment in all its formations to be at head of other universities to develop its work that requires a great technological and engineering effort”. Director of department of studies, planning and follow-up, Mr. Samer Mohammed Jaber clarified to university media saying: “data center at the department of studies would be one of the important step towards e-governance or advanced electronic management since most developed countries in the world are in direct contact with the specialized electronic centers in administrating its institutions’ data digitally that are growing day another, so our university will be in the ranks of the major universities”. Concerning the importance of this project and his contributions in the university of Baghdad, director of legal affairs, assistant teacher, Mason Ali Abdul Hadi said: “The department has become very close to the digital work by the presence of modern technological incubators adopted by the university in file management and work management by facilitating access to websites in an integral speed and precision”.
