The college of veterinary medicine at the university of Baghdad gave three training courses in collaboration with the ministry of agriculture in artificial insemination and veterinary sonar and the latest developments in microbiology . The   first course was entitled (the artificial insemination in the laboratory) in which lectures were given by the instructors of the department of surgery, veterinary obstetrics and artificial insemination. The number of the participants reached to (24) participants of veterinary doctors and agricultural engineers in the specialty of livestock. The second course was entitled (the mobile veterinary sonar) with the participation of (16) trainees of veterinarians from the Ministry of agriculture and those interested in this field like the agricultural engineers. It included theoretical and practical lectures  in how to use the sonar in diagnosis. while the third course entitled ( latest developments in microbiology) organized by the department of microbiology in this college, the colleges of Pharmacy at the university of Baghdad and Ibn Sina medical college at the Iraqi university, besides  participants from the department of microbiology in the college of veterinary medicine at the university of Baghdad. The courses were concluded with the distribution of certificates to the participants by the Director of the  Center for training and rehabilitation in the Department of counseling and agricultural training, and the assistant of dean for Student Affairs and registration, assistant professor Dr. Oruba Mohammed Said  , and head of the department of surgery and obstetrics, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Jawad Issa. The participants thanked the deanery, the members of the continuing education unit and the lecturers for their efforts in the success of these courses and the delivery of good information to keep up with the latest scientific developments in the field of veterinary medicine .
