Baghdad AlKhawarzmi Looks for the ways of joint cooperation with the German organization DAAD
College of Engineering AlKhawarzmi / Baghdad University received a delegation from the German organization (DAAD) of academic and cultural exchange and discussed the ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides and assess the extent of how students and faculty members can take advantage of scholarship and training programs offered by the organization. At the beginning of the meeting, the dean of the college, Dr. Osama Fadhil Abdullatif gave the visiting delegation an overview about the college and its scientific departments and modern engineering disciplines that distinguishes it from the other engineering colleges in Iraqi universities, as well as the development stages that it witnessed ,the future plans to improve the scientific and academic level and seeking the world reliability . The Dean discussed with the delegation the possibility of increasing the training opportunities of the students and faculty members at German universities. The German delegation in turn ,praised the outstanding scientific reputation enjoyed by the college of Engineering Alkhawarzmi and the modern engineering disciplines that comprise and distinguish their scholarships students within the program of DAAD.They also expressed their admiration of the university campus and its distinctive location.
