College of Education for Girls Discusses the Importance of Information Technology in the Service of Society

  Department of Computer ,College of Education for Girls, Baghdad University held a third scientific symposium entitled “The role of information technology in the service of society.” The department head Amer al-Samarrai delivered a speech at the opening seminar indicating the importance of information and communications technology, which plays important roles in the efforts to develop modern societies that is included in the components of the infrastructure of public and private Facilities. the head of the department pointed the importance of the scientific symposium in thst it discusses research coping with the use of technology in access to information with the proliferation of business applications, e-commerce and technology communication and information to be the main channel for the delivery of services to beneficiaries. The symposium included biogenic information technologies , multimedia applications and future computer technologies , lectures on calculated genes by Dr. Fouad Abdul Razzaq from the college of Engineering ,University of Iraq, and applications of Nanotechnology by Dr. Buthaina Fihran and Afaf Badee’, and the role of multimedia in education by Enas Muthaffar and Eman Mohammed, and cloud computing revolution coming to information Technology to Prof. Dr. Samir Khudair and programmer Sawsan Hadi, and virtual reality applications by Dr. Mona Hadi Saleh were delivered .
