President of University of Baghdad receives a delegation from University of Nottingham
President of University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Alla Abdul Hussein Abdul Rasool received the director of Center of Architecture and World Architectural Heritage at University of Nottingham, Britain Prof. Mohammad Jamal Abdul Moneim and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects of joint cooperation between the two universities along with a draft memorandum of understanding within the framework of scientific cooperation for the sake of training professors and postgraduate students as well as joint supervision in such matters. The meeting was attended by Associate Rector for scientific affairs, Assist. Prof. Dr. Osama Fadil Abdul Latif and the dean of the center of urban and regional planning, Assist. Prof. Dr. Abdul Hussein al-Askari and a number of professors from the college of engineering.
President of University of Baghdad is honored by the Second International Scientific Forum in Istanbul
President of University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Hussein Abdul Rasool is honored by the 2nd International Scientific Forum (ARID Platform) in Istanbul with the shield of the platform as well as a book of thanks and appreciation for his efforts in supporting the scientific research movement in Iraq with the marked active participation of a number of professors of the faculty of agriculture in the 2nd International Scientific Conference of Applied Sciences and the first patent exhibition. The shield was handed over to the university president by Assistant Prof. Dr. Ruqaiba Ali Chich from the department of food sciences at the college on behalf of the professors participating in the conference.
