The Iraqi Journal of Physics of the college of science at University of Baghdad entered recently in Scopus which is the world’s largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed research literature to under evaluation for the purpose of completing its registration requirements within a period of six to twelve months. This journal is considered as one of the specialized scientific journals published by the college of science (ISSN: 2070-4003) that disseminates unpublished scientific research in all fields of physics in Arabic and English according to certified research conditions in terms of authenticity. It is worth mentioned that the department of physics is characterized with its keeping up with the most scientific progress and the latest scientific news worldwide, holding numerous discussions, seminars and conferences that address all the latest developments in this area.
