The center for development and continuing education at University of Baghdad organized a meeting with the Associate Rector for scientific affairs, Prof. Dr. Osama Fadil Abdul Latif and director of the center Prof. Dr. Manaf Yousef Hammoud with a commission from the Canadian Institute of Governance. The meeting discussed the possibility of activating the work of the Institute of Governance with regard to consolidating the principle of federalism and decentralization enshrined in the Iraqi constitution, which would to be launched in the coming weeks with the participation of a number of Governors and Directors-General in some provinces.
