Vice President Khudhair Al-Khuzaie Honors our University
Because the presidency of the Republic of Iraq is keen and believe in science and its role in the progress of peoples, it gives a great importance to science and scientists and Iraqi scientific institutions, where it pays much attention to universities and follow-up all the activities and events of the university and even it contributes to the development and support of all scientific and advanced projects for the service of the Iraqi society and because the Presidency of the Republic of Iraq is integral part of Iraqi society, it contacts with science and scientists continually , from here it followed up and supported the activities of our university, especially our university website which often carry with it in order to communicate scientifically and intellectually, where it seeks to develop work through science and advanced academic research.
What the University of Baghdad did in the development of websites forms an uprising and intellectual reflection in the field of development and international progress to give large signals and signs that the university stands on its feet again and provides a model for the world in the development and human progress ,this progress wouldn’t see the light only after good and large efforts taken by the university, including the development of staffs of the university and training programming and writing texts ,graphic and administration of websites, so University deliberately held typical and advanced training courses in the development of websites, the most important courses was an intensive training course of 2-17/12/ 2012, for the graduation of golden group who are able to fit all the activities and events of the formations of the University, and display them in the websites using modern scientific system.
The university held a ceremony of the graduation of this group and with a follow-up of Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul-Hussein University President, where he recommended that this course will be typical by all standards to raise the university to the highest levels, as well as supported by Prof. Dr. Bahaa Tuma Jiyad, Administrative Assistant of the President of the University, who was keen to set a specialized curriculum to train and develop staffs of websites.He attended the graduation ceremony for the distribution of graduation certificates and awards to the outstanding students. The ceremony was held at the Hall of Continuing Education of the college of Science, Al-Jadiriya and with the presence of all the participants of the course and some of the employees of the Republic Presidency. The celebration began with a verse from the Glorious Quran recited by one of the participants of the course, and then the teacher assistant Bassim Hameed ,Director of Website delivered a speech noting the building and evolution stages of the website and the ranks obtained, and then administrative Assistant delivered a speech greeting the efforts of workers of this course praising the faithful efforts and explaining what websites play in business development and scientific upgrading and its great capacity . Coincide with the celebrations of Baghdad; the capital of Culture Dr. Kadhem Omran delivered a poem of beloved Baghdad praising its beauty. Then awards were given to the participants and a gift of Dr. Khudhair Al-Khuzaie Vice President was given to the University of Baghdad, which was provided by a representative of the office of Dr. Khuzaie, and carriers greetings and blessings of MP to the University and for the progress that characterize the university and scientific developments, stressing the keenness of Mr. Vice on the development and progress of the Iraqi universities among international Universities.
The website team offers a gift to Dr. Alaa Abdul-Hussein University President and with the presence of Mr. Ahmed, head of scientific affairs and teacher assistant Abdul Kareem Mounir Director Office of President of the University, the university president expressed his happiness of this scientific victory noting that the University of Baghdad represents a great symbol of human civilization due to its reputation and capabilities by virtue of originality and scientific greatness , and most universities and scientific institutions pay attention to our university especially in conferences and scientific events, because of its broad and good reputation among communities and prestigious universities, so we have to maintain and develop our university, through innovation and through diligence , follow-up and accuracy of work, and I am confident that our capabilities exceeds what we are now, and what we got of the ranks is a stage, there must be more advanced new stages, God willing the coming days will witness more of progress ,development and the improvement in performance.
During a meeting of website team with the president , editor of website explained that there are more plans and programs developed by the website of the work, and according to a strategy to lead our university and be the top in front of major universities in the world, there are also a number of new packages to be set off by the website, and that the university is on track to big strategy to gain Universal deserve according to classifications and regional and global calendars. We have more capabilities and energies that we can support to new progress and development, at the same time the director of website confirmed the efforts made by the website has achieved and will achieve a number of victories, and we have more stages and measures the website works to develop a work and administration according to a non-traditional approach, to be able to progress and development and compete with major international universities.
Then Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul-Hussein evaluates the efforts of Website and receives shield of the Republic presidency of the Website team thanking them of the honor and the gift, and explained that the university is eligible to gain more advanced ranks, God willing this honor will be an incentive to proceed more, to advance the university to higher ranks, confirming his great confidence that the university will maintain its top at all levels among websites of world and developed universities. The president praised all good efforts in the website, indicating the importance of the role of the website and its communication and service to the University and the society, where it has a big role to highlight the role and potential of our university, scientists and excellent researchers, so the support of the website will continue to achieve more achievements and progress.
