Center for urban planning participates in a conference on sustainable urban development


Assistant Prof. Dr. Nada Khalifa Mohammed Ali al-Rekabi, an instructor at Center for urban and regional planning was selected as a member of an advisory board and keynote speaker at the 4th international conference entitled “4th ISoSUD” held at the college of architecture, landscape and the college of planning and environment at Trisakti University, Indonesia sponsored by SCOPUS and Thompson Reuters. Dr. Nada Khalifa delivered a lecture entitled (Sustainability in Solid Waste Handling) where she was honored by that college. It is worth mentioned that this conference is held periodically every three years and it aims towards providing significant opportunities for exchanging and discussing mutual interest as well as it is considered as an ideal platform for researchers, scientists, engineers and practitioners for presenting the latest findings of research, ideas, developments and applications in all areas of sustainable urban development.
