A number of instructors of the department of Persian language at the college of languages, University of Baghdad participated in the 1st scientific session of the Persian and Arabic Language Translators Association sponsored by the Iranian cultural center of the Iranian cultural Attache in Baghdad. The participants discussed the story literature in Iran where the Assistant Prof. Dr. Jassim Ramdam Mahmood and Teacher Dr. Rana Ali Majeed delivered a lecture on old and contemporary story literature in Iran. The session was chaired by Assistant Prof. Anwar Abbas Majeed from the department of the Persian language and Hamid Riza Islami, director of scientific affairs and universities in the Iranian cultural Attache Baghdad in the presence of a number of professors and those interested in studying the Persian literature.
