Assistant Professor Dr.Zainab Ziad Ismail participates in a special Workshop to Develop Proposals and Research Plans of Water Management Projects in Muscat

  Assistant professor Dr. Zainab Ziad Ismail from the Department of Environmental Engineering in the College of Engineering participated at the special workshop about the development of proposals and research plans and environmental projects, specifically water management projects. This workshop is held at the Center of the Middle East Research desalination (MEDRC) in the city of Muscat, ‘Oman from 7- 10/10/2012 and with the participation of 30 university professors and researchers in the field of water management from the countries of the Middle East and North Africa noting that the organization of the workshop has been in cooperation and coordination among the following international organizations:

  • US Agency for International Development, USAID)
  • National Science Foundation, NSF)
  • Middle East and North Africa Network of Water Centers of Excellence (MENA NWC)

  The workshop agenda included the embarking of the participants individually as well as in work groups to prepare plans of different research projects within the field of water management and its applications in the Middle East by following adopted modern methods in the approach of writing plans of applied research projects and special offers in this regard, Dr. Zainab has submitted a research in the closed-circuit system applications and water recycling.
