The University of Baghdad has achieved a new record in THE World University Rankings for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2020 where it ranked (+601) out of 767 international universities rated for the first time in this category.
Our university gained the second place locally out of (18) Iraqi universities and the (301-400) place out of (620) universities around the world in good health and well-being, the second place locally out of 6 Iraqi universities and the (401+) place out of (499) universities globally in industry innovations and infrastructure. Also it appeared in the first place locally out of (7) Iraqi universities and the (201-300) place out of (470) universities globally in sustainable cities and communities as well as in the fifth place locally out of (25) Iraqi universities and the (401-600) place out of the (807) across the world in partnerships.
