Prof. Dr. Manal Shaker Ali, head of the department of earth sciences at the college of science has participated recently in an International Conference on Natural Resources held in Lyon, France under the auspices of the Euro-Arab Geomatic Union in the presence of many researchers from all over the world.
This conference aimed to develop capabilities, transfer technology, exchange experiences in research and studies in the field of the measurement, analysis, management, display of geographic and other spatial data as well as to keep abreast with the latest technological developments in this regard. The participants discussed research on the sustainable disposal of natural resources, environment & climate change, marine sciences and renewable energies and the latest innovations in automated agriculture.
