Nashat Jumaah Omar, an engineer from the University of Baghdad SPE Student Chapter has participated recently in an online lecture organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers on the software knowledge in oil & gas industry.
The lecturer addressed the importance of programming in the oil field and how to choose the path of software learning for graduate students that can be applied later in their career. It is noteworthy that this lecture was moderated by the president of the university SPE student chapter, Ali Maher Noori from the department of petroleum engineering where this event witnessed a great gathering of students, professors as well as representatives of Iraqi and foreign universities.
