Assist. Prof. Dr. Bahaa Mahmoud Alwan, head of the department of German language at the college of languages visited the Philipps University of Marburg in Germany where he met Prof. Albert Voss from the department of near and middle east studies and head of the department of the German studies Prof. Dr. Kathrin Siebold to discuss ways for the enhancement of scientific cooperation between the two sides.
Dr. Bahaa Mahmoud delivered a lecture on the reality of education and academic research at the University of Baghdad and addressed the importance of exchanging mutual visits, establishment of specialized summer courses as well as the need for updating curricula for Iraqi learners.
