Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Attia Al-Sarraj, dean of Al-Khawarzmi college of engineering at the University of Baghdad received recently a delegation from Al-Mustaqbal University College headed by the dean Assist. Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi to open up prospects of joint scientific cooperation between the two sides.
The two parties held a meeting in which they discussed the mechanism of activating a twinning agreement that was concluded previously based on the principle of academic cooperation between public universities and civil colleges recognized by the Iraqi ministry of higher education and scientific research in the fields of engineering applications as well as future plans to promote the educational and administrative reality of electronic publication of books, researches and periodicals.
Al-Sarraj also stressed the need to prepare a timetable for agreed programs such as workshops, seminars and video conferences for students of the initial stages at the beginning of the current academic year and mutual cooperation between professors to implement the ministry’s instructions concerning publishing joint research in Scopus database.
