The computer center hosted an online meeting with the International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) to discuss ways of joint cooperation in the field of training of teaching and engineering staff, specially the programmers at the University of Baghdad. The two sides agreed upon the activation of multiple programs that include academic initiatives such as the Skills Academy and the Nation Initiative.
The digital curricula via such programs will be in line with laboratory experiences in order to enhance expertise in specialized institutional applications based on cognitive computing, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity for the purpose of preparing university students to work in labor market in Iraq and the Middle East.
