Prof. Dr. Hussein Hamid Karim, Associate Rector for administrative affairs at the University of Baghdad chaired a meeting under the guidance of His Excellency the minister of higher education and scientific research Prof. Dr. Qusay al-Suhail with Prof. Dr. Emad Hussein al-Husseini and Prof. Dr. Mohammed Sahib Mahdi, the Rectors of the universities of Technology and Al-Nahrain as well as the director of Ibn Sina Hospital Dr. Yas Hussein Mutlaq al-Tamimi.
The meeting discussed the mechanisms of action for the development and upgrading the medical services provided by the aforementioned hospital where the Associate Rector stressed the need to develop its infrastructure and finding the best strategic solutions that will eliminate the problems suffered by people in Baghdad.
It is noteworthy that His Excellency the minister of higher education has entrusted this task to the advisory offices at these universities according to specific timetables.
