Prof. Dr. Mohammed Saleh al-Jawad and the doctoral student Dalia Abdul Hadi Abdul Latif from the department of petroleum engineering at the University of Baghdad participated in a joint research paper on a new method of gas injection and water production in order to improve the performance of oil reservoirs.
This research was also authored in collaboration with Dr. Wathiq al-Mudhafer from Basrah Oil Company, a visiting professor from the University of Texas, Austin and Prof. Andrew K Wogtanowicz from Louisiana State University as well as Prof. Dayanand Saini from California State University. This conference was organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) in San Jose, California.
