Assist. Prof. Dr. Wassan Kareem Abdul Rida, a professor from the department of geography at the college of education for humanities (Ibn Rushd) has recently participated in the second international conference held under the slogan (value system and its impact on the development of dialogue and promotion of educational guidance and family mediation) at Serbia through her research paper entitled (The role of family as an educational institution in instilling and developing the social-religious values of children).
The aim of this research is to shed light on the role of the family in promoting the values of people since it is the core of the social, religious and educational integration of the individual and the whole community. The researcher reached at a number of conclusions and recommendations including that the home is considered as the smallest nucleus of any social composition, so it should be reformed permanently in order to be a fundamental basis in the development of society towards prosperity as well as the significant role played by women in this vital process.
