The department of astronomy and space at the college of science, University of Baghdad organized a closed circuit television (CCTV) lecture via Skype with one of the professors of the department of astronomy at the University of Bonn, Germany, Dr. Juergen Kerp in the presence of professors and students of graduate and postgraduate studies.
This closed- televised lecture was co-sponsored by Dr. Ahmed Hassan al-Uloom in the presence of the head of department Assist. Prof. Dr. Ban Abdul Razzaq with the aim to exchange experiences in the field of astronomy, updating curriculum in line with international institutions as well as opening up the horizons of scientific and cognitive cooperation with advanced international universities.
