Department of Arabic language at the college of education for women held its 27th conference entitled (the impact of western theories and curricula in Arabic linguistic and literary studies) in the presence of the Rector of the University of Baghdad Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Hussein Abdul Rasool and a large number of professors and students. Dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Nawal Fadel Abbas delivered a speech stating that the college seeks to provide opportunities and specific activities to enhance the academic level of its teaching staff through joint collaboration with other Arab and foreign universities.
Head of the department of Arabic language, Assist. Prof. Dr. Jinan Qahtan Farhan stated that things in common among human languages cannot be without reason, but they are a strong proof that the linguistic nature is the same for all people since any human being is born with a linguistic instinct that represents the deep structure of the language.
